The voices of Finardi and Sorrenti will be sent into Space
A “stellar” initiative. Eugenio Finardi and Alan Sorrenti will be the testimonials, or rather the “space ambassadors”, of the Star Bottle project on the occasion of the Stars Night, scheduled for next August 10th. “On a magical evening that promises to enchant and inspire”, reads the launch of the initiative, the words of Eugenio Finardi and Alan Sorrenti, with a specific tribute to the famous songs “Extraterrestre” and “Figli delle Stelle”, will resonate in the Milky Waybringing a message of hope, directly into Space. “These two artists, who joined the initiative with interviews and personal messages that will be converted into binary code and sent into Deep Space (direction Milky Way)were chosen precisely for their deep connection with the space world and the universe, as evidenced by their two songs iconic, with melodies imbued with cosmic and visionary suggestions”, explain the organizers. The project Star Bottle, which can be explored in more detail from a technical and creative perspective here, has the very aim of sending messages beyond Planet Earth.
“Extraterrestre” and “Figli delle Stelle” are not just songs, “but real hymns that transport us beyond the terrestrial boundarieson a journey among the stars and the mysteries of the unknown: it is with immense emotion that we share the news that these musical works, loved by generations, will be an integral part of Star Bottle’s Stars Night event”, the curators continue. The evening of August 10 will not only be a celebration of shooting stars, but an event in which music, art and astronomy will merge.
“A special and personal message from the two artists, full of meanings and hopes, will be sent into Space, crossing the Milky Way to reach the most remote corners of the Universe. A symbolic gesture that represents the human desire to explore, discover and connect with the infinite”, this is the ultimate goal of the project. The Star Night event will conclude with the complete transmission towards the Milky Way of the song “Extraterrestre”, also converted into binary code, as per space tradition. Because, maybe, somewhere in space there is someone waiting for us.
