The Trump administration responds to Bruce Springsteen
Earlier this week Bruce Springsteen released the song “Streets of Minneapolis”inspired by the death of Renee Good And Alex Pretti in Minneapolis at the hands of ICE, Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents. In this regard, the Boss received a response from White House spokeswoman Abigail Johnson.
In a statement given to The Hollywood Reporter
Abigail Johnson
commented on Springsteen’s song: “The Trump administration is focused on encouraging local Democrats to work with federal law enforcement to remove dangerous and criminal illegal immigrants from their communities, not on random songs with irrelevant opinions and inaccurate information. The media should report on how the Democrats have refused to cooperate with the administration and have instead opted to shelter these illegal criminals.”

on his Facebook account he stated: “I wrote this song on Saturday, recorded it yesterday, and released it today in response to the state terror that is affecting the city of Minneapolis. It is dedicated to the people of Minneapolis, to our innocent immigrant neighbors, and in memory of Alex Pretti and Renee Good. Stay free.”
