Talking Heads, concert film "Stop Making Sense" in cinemas

The Talking Heads guests of the TV game show “Jeopardy!”

THE Talking Heads appeared on the US game show “Jeopardy!” and asked questions about them.

“Jeopardy!”, of which “Rischiatutto” is the Italian adaptation of the format, is a general culture game divided by topics that has been on the air since 1964.

The episode of the long-running game show, which aired on October 15, saw the iconic band appear in part of the episode to present questions in a special category: the Talking Headsasking contestants questions about their discography and concert film “Stop Making Sense”.

The band recently celebrated 40 years of the concert film with a restored re-release. Furthermore, a tribute album was released in May which saw artists such as The National, Miley Cyrus, Paramore and more create their covers of the band’s most famous songs.

“Among other things, we are the protagonists of Stop Making Sense,” said David Bryne at the beginning of the clip describing their presence on “Jeopardy!”, while Chris Frantz added: “Acclaimed as the greatest concert film of all times.”

“Now the film will have a 40th anniversary re-release,” Tina Weymouth continued, while Jerry Harrison added: “We will have clues about the film and our music.”

In the segment, members of the group are seen asking questions about their greatest hits – including “Psycho Killer” And “Burning Down The House” – as well as more general questions about who directed the film “Stop Making Sense” and which iconic New York club saw them play their first concert.

A celebratory event is also planned in Italy on the occasion of the film’s release with a special evening scheduled for October 24th at Alcatraz in Milan where the film will be screened with lightshows and dancers on an 80s-style dancefloor.
