The songs of “A record for the summer” 1973

The event was born from the idea of AFI, Associazione Fonografici Italiani, to promote the summer record market with a festival that presented the new releases of the various labels, as happened at the Sanremo Festival for the winter market. It was broadcast by RAI, and became a regular event until 1975, when it was suspended (and then resumed in other forms and with other titles).

Here we present the editions of the first “classic” series of “A Record for the Summer”, which was held from 1964 to 1975 inclusive.
