The Smashing Pumpkins Just Announced Their New Album
Surprise: a new Smashing Pumpkins album is coming out. A year after the colossal “Atum”, released last year and containing a whopping 33 songs, Billy Corgan and his friends have just announced the release of a new work of unreleased material. “Aghori Mhori Mei”, this is the title of the album, will arrive on August 2nd. But unlike the previous one, it will contain a significantly smaller number of songs: ten in total.
The Smashing Pumpkins have already shared the cover and tracklist for the ideal successor to “Atum”: here they are below.
“Edin”
“Pentagrams”
“Sighs”
“Pentecost”
“War Dreams of Itself”
“Who Goes There”
“999”
“Goeth the Fall”
“Sicarus”
“Murnau”
And this, instead, is the trailer-announcement of the album:
“Aghori Mhori Mei” will be the first Smashing Pumpkins album since guitarist Jeff Schroeder left last fall, replaced on the last tour by Kiki Wong.
