The Rolling Stones return to the studio

There is not much information about it, but British saxophonist Courtney Pine has stated that he has been in the studio recording with Keith Richard, Mick Jagger and Ronnie Wood. It’s been just a few months since the group released their new album ““Foreign Tongues” –it was released specifically on July 10–, but it seems that they have no intention of stopping offering us new songs.

According to Pine, he’s been recording saxes for some songs. He said it in a program on the BBC’s third channel, Private Passions. Of course, from his words it gave the impression that, at the time of recording his part, only Mick Jagger was present.

And you have to remember that Pine worked on the album “Wandering Spirit” by Jagger, a solo album that was released in 1993. That could raise doubts regarding whether Jagger also wants to release a solo song, doubts that would initially be cleared up if we pay attention to the words of Jagger himself, who a few months ago told British media that he was already working on new songs for an upcoming album by The Rolling Stones.
