The Rolling Stones celebrate one year of “Hackney diamonds”
On October 20th, “Hackney Diamonds” will turn one year old. The Rolling Stones released it last year as their first album of new material since 2005’s “A Bigger Bang” and their first work since the passing of drummer Charlie Watts in 2021. To celebrate the album’s first anniversary, a special vinyl edition will be released, which, in addition to the original album, will include seven live recordings.
The new edition of “Hackney Diamonds” (here is our review), available from next December 6th, will be available as a double vinyl and the second disc will include the live songs performed by the historic band at the Racket in New York in October 2023, including “Sweet Sounds of Heaven” with Lady Gaga, as well as the classics “Shattered”, “Tumbling Dice” and “Jumpin’ Jack Flash”.
