The official jingle of Sanremo 2026 is by Welo
The Sanremo 2026 jingle was born from a Sanremo reworking of “Emigrato”, Welo’s single. His voice and his sounds will accompany every evening of the Festival. “Emigrato” is a song that addresses the theme of departure as a necessity, without idealizations. Its use as a jingle places this story within the context of the Festival, without changing its narrative setting.
Sanremo Giovani represented an important step in the career of Welo, an artist from Lecce born in 1999. With “Emigrato” he attracted attention for his direct writing and sonic coherence. Despite not accessing the New Proposals section of the 2026 Sanremo Festivalthe path led to a different outcome than initially expected. During the final on 14 December 2025, Carlo Conti proposed live on Rai 1 to transform “Emigrato” into the official jingle of the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festivalscheduled from 24 February 2026. The jingle marks a significant passage in the artist’s career, inserting a song born outside the Sanremo perimeter into the structure of the Festival.
