The documentary will celebrate the Iron Maiden through the contributions of the current members of the group together with those of former members, as well as with testimonies of famous fans such as actor Javier Bardem, Lars Ulrich of the Metallica and Gene Simmons of the Kiss. The film will also include the last interview with the band’s singer between 1978 and 1981, Paul of the year, who passed away in October 2024.

In addition to rare archive images, the film, still without title, will also present unpublished animated sequences with their legendary mascot, Eddie.

The direction will be entrusted to Malcolm Venville, former director of “Churchill at War”. Commenting on the next documentary, the Iron Maiden manager, Ron Smallwood, said: “We are proud that Universal Pictures Content Group has chosen to share the unique story of the Iron Maiden with the world. We have given them unlimited access to the band, to our fans and colleagues musicians. We trust that not only the fans of music will be enthusiastic, but also anyone who loves a story of a loser who challenges the difficulties to become and remain one of the most important musical exports of Great Britain from our first album, released 45 years ago “.

After their performance at the Gallop Hippodrome Snai San Siro in Milan of 15 July 2023 guests of the Milan Summer Festival, the Iron Maiden will return to concert in Italy for a date scheduled at the Euganeo stadium in Padua on Sunday 13 July 2025.
