Doors: a new documentary claims that Jim Morrison is alive
Is Jim Morrison still alive? This is what a new documentary claims, according to which the legendary Doors frontman would not have disappeared on July 3, 1971 but would still be alive and well. To support this hypothesis is the new docu-series entitled “Before the End: Searching for Jim Morrison”.
According to the documentary, written and directed by Jeff Finn, an author who defines himself as a Superfan of the Doors, Jim Morrison would live under anonymity in Syracuse, would lead a life as a maintenance worker and would call himself Frank. Although it has been available on Apple TV+ since January, the series is starting only now to attract attention through channels such as Syracuse.com.
To support the theory, Finn says that Syracuse’s man has a scar on his nose on the same point where the real Morrison had a neo. Jeff Finn also claims to have shown a photo of Frank to two girls from the past of the legendary singer -songwriter and poet, and they, according to what reported, would have broken out in tears for the likeness.
According to what reported by Consequence, the interview included in the docu-series with Frank does not provide much information, since the alleged Jim Morrison gave Vaghe to Finn when he was asked about his identity.
Jim Morrison was found lifeless at the age of 27 on July 3, 1971 in the bathtub of his apartment in Rue Beautreillis, in Paris. Officially, the cause of death was attributed to a cardiac arrest by the Parisian authorities, who did not consider it necessary to proceed with the autopsy, since there were no signs of violence or crimes. This has fueled many theories and speculations on the death of Morrison who have followed each other over the years.
