The Helloween announce the new album “Giants & Monsters”

“Giants & Monsters” is the title of the new Helloween album, coming out on August 29 through Reigning Phoenix Music.

The German Power Metal formation announced the album, a successor of “Helloween” of 2021, declaring in a post on social media: “We closed ourselves in the studio, we have evoked a few giants, struggled with some monster and, in some way, we came out with a whole new album: ‘Giants & Monsters’. It also has a smell that knows of victory … and perhaps the dragon’s breath”. And again: “So, the album is over. And since we are bad to keep the secrets (and even worse to wait): are you ready to enter the reign of riffs, roaring roars and absurd solos?”.

The Helloween entered the studio in the summer of 2024 to start the work on the new album. On Wednesday 9 April, guitarist and singer Kai Hansen shared a video message on his Instagram profile in which he said: “Hi, Ladies and Lords. The Helloween album is mixed. It is done. It is over. And I’m very happy with the result … I think we put together a great album … so wait for it”. In the clip, Hansen also listens to short extracts of some songs contained on the disc.
