The final concert of the Black Sabbath will become a movie

“Back to the Beginning”, the Fiinal concert of the Black Sabbath held on July 5, 2025 at the Villa Park stadium in Birmingham, will become a film. The film will be distributed in cinemas around the world in 2026, as officially announced through a press release relaunched by Variety. The film will tell about the band’s final reunion with Ozzy Osbourne, in a great collective event that celebrated the history of Black Sabbath in their hometown. The film will include a synthesis of live performances, unpublished material from the backstage and interviews.
In the official press release, we read:

“This film will be a celebration of the band’s inheritance, as well as a love letter to the fans and the city of Birmingham. There could be no more suitable place than Villa Park for the last Sabbath concert – where it all started, and where it now ends. The energy of that night, the emotion, the story: all this has been captured in the film.”

As we told you, the concert has seen, in addition to the Black Sabbath with Ozzy Osbourne, also bands and guest artists such as metal members, Slayer, Pantera, Guns N ‘Roses and Tool, Steven Tyler and Yungblud. The event was also broadcast in live streaming. Jungblud, present on stage, made a live cover of “Changes”. His interpretation, personally approved by Ozzy Osbourne, was published as a single beneficial: Yungblud called it “the most important moment of my life”. The proceeds will be donated to Cure Parkinson’s, Birmingham Children’s Hospital and Acorns Children’s Hospice.
