The Eurovison Song Contest arrives in Milan

It’s a very complex period for the Eurovision Song Contest: the major controversies over Israel’s participation despite the conflict in Gaza have led several countries to withdraw from the event. But EBU – the European broadcasters’ association – relaunches. Eurovision will take place in May in Austria, the winner of the 2025 edition – but immediately afterwards it will go on tour throughout Europe, with a date in Milan, at the Santa Giulia Arena, on 19 June –

“Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour” will celebrate 70 years of the event, with 10 artists from the 2026 edition for 10 cities, starting in London on 15 June. The communication states that “iconic artists who have given legendary performances over the last seven decades of the Eurovision Song Contest and 10 artists competing for the 2026 final in Vienna” will take to the stage and that “special surprise guests will perform live on stage in each city (…) the artists will perform the songs they submitted to the Eurovision Song Contest, as well as covers of their favorite songs from the 70-year history of the contest”.

To access ticket sales you must register on the Eurovision website. The Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour will be promoted by Semmel Concerts and the production company will be Progress Productions – the production of the Italian date is in collaboration with Vivo. Martin Green, CBE, director of the Eurovision Song Contest, said:

As we celebrate 70 years of the Eurovision Song Contest, we wanted to do something truly unique and special, and the Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour is exactly that. This historic first tour captures the evolution of the Contest – from television icon to immersive live experience – with a format that celebrates our fantastic past while looking to the future.

For the first time ever, we are bringing the magic of the live Eurovision Song Contest experience directly to fans, their friends and families across Europe. This is our chance to celebrate the music, artists and community that have made the Eurovision Song Contest what it is for seven extraordinary decades.”

The Eurovision Song Contest Live Tour will start one month after the Final of the 70th Eurovision Song Contest, which will be held in Vienna on 16 May, with semi-finals on 12 and 14 May.
