The Coldplay sang “Sunshine On Leith” of the Proclaimers
The best known song of the Scottish duo of Proclaimers composed of the twins Charlie and Craig Reid is probably “I’m Gonna Be (500 Miles) “1988 song that became a hit a few years later when it was included in the soundtrack of the film ‘Benny & Joon’.
To restore luster to Proclaimers they thought i Coldplay By proposing, in their recent apparition, to the Room plan of BBC Radio 2 the cover of “Sunshine On Leith” title track of their second album, the one it contained “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)”.
