The BTS confirm the return in 2026 with new album and tour
After the rumors last June, the BTS have confirmed their return in spring 2026 with a New album and a world tour. The K-Pop stars, during a direct on the Weverse Superfan platform lasting about 30 minutes, have announced that next year they will officially return to activity with a new record project and an important series of concerts.
The announcement came from all seven members of the BTS, connected live with fans for their first joint broadcast since they completed mandatory military service. The South Korean band, totaling over 7.3 million views in real time, has therefore revealed that from this month all the components will go to the United States to start working on new music. The group – formed by RM, Jin, Suga, J -Hope, Jimin, V and Jung Kook – said, as reported by “Musicbusinessworldwide”: “We will publish a new BTS album in the spring next year. Starting from July, all seven will start working closely on new music. Being a group album, it will reflect the thoughts and ideas of each member. We are approaching the project with the same mentality we had when we started“.
In addition to the release of the new album in 2026, the BTS will also leave for a “massive” world tour, presented as follows by the BTS: “We are also planning A world tour in conjunction with the new album. We will visit fans all over the worldso we hope you are as excited as we are. “
While the new album expected for the next year will mark the first study work from the two records of 2020, “Map of the Soul: 7” and “Be”, the tour will have been the BTS world’s first year, from the conclusion of “BTS Permission To Dance on Stage” in 2022.
