The actor who will play Ozzy Osbourne in the biopic has been chosen

Work continues apace on the biographical film which will retrace the human and artistic parable of Ozzy Osbourne, the Prince of Darkness, who died last July. The film was announced back in 2021 and since then the project has taken shape brick by brick. Osbourne’s family has continued to work on it even in these first months since the death of the Black Sabbath singer and now it is his son Jack Osbourne who has revealed that the actor who will play his father in the film has been officially chosen.

The actor’s identity was not revealed, however: «We chose him, but I can’t say anything. He is a phenomenal actor, truly phenomenal,” Jack said in an interview with SiriusXM. In the past, Jack Osbourne and his mother Sharon expressed their desire for Bill Harder to play Ozzy.

The screenplay of the film is signed by Lee Hall, already author of “Rocketman”, the film about Elton John.

The film does not yet have a release date: «We are at full speed in the development phase of this film», Jack Osbourne said.
