The absentee is justified by Bruce Springsteen
Bruce Springsteen he signed a notice of absence from a fan who skips class to attend his show.
The incident occurred during Springsteen's concert on Sunday, March 31 at the Chase Center in San Francisco. During the performance the musician's attention was attracted by a young fan in the front row. The boy was carrying a handwritten sign that read “I'm skipping school, will you sign my ticket?”
The letter of absence would allow the young fan to justify not being at school on Monday (April 1) after attending the Springsteen concert. At the moment it is not clear whether the absence note signed to the young fan by “dad Bruce” was accepted by the school.
In the San Francisco concert, some innovations were introduced to renew the concert lineup after the controversies following the 2023 tour (read more here). During the March 31 show at the Chase Center in San Francisco, Springsteen kicked off the concert with “Light Of Day” (a 1987 song from the soundtrack to the film of the same name), marking the first performance of the song on his current tour, as well as the first time it has been performed with the E Street Band since 2016.
