Taylor Swift, the video for 'Fortnight' with Post Malone is online

The video for “Fortnight” has been made available online, the first song to be accompanied by a clip from Taylor Swift's new album, “The Tortured Poets Department”: written and directed by the singer-songwriter herself, the work is enriched by the participation of the owner featuring Post Malone and the actors Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles, who together had already starred in “Dead Poets Society”, a 1989 film directed by Peter Weir with Robin Williams in the lead role whose original title was “Dead Poets Society” .

“When I was writing the video for 'Fortnight,' I wanted to show you the worlds that I saw in my head and that served as a backdrop to create this music,” the artist explained about the video: “Pretty much everything is a metaphor or reference between different parts of the album. For me, this video proved to be the perfect visual representation of this record and the stories I tell on it. Post Malone blew me away on set as our tortured tragic hero and I'm so grateful for everything he put into this collaboration. I'm still laughing from working with the coolest guys on earth, Ethan Hawke and Josh Charles ('tortured poets', meet your colleagues in the back row, the 'dead poets')”.

“I still can't believe I got to work with the incredibly talented Rodrigo Prieto as director and with my dream team of collaborators: Ethan Tobman (production designer), Chancler Haynes (editor), Anthony Dimino (1st AD), Jil Hardin (producer) and Dom Thomas (executive producer),” added Swift: “Parliament killed it with the special effects, as always. Joseph Cassell, Lorrie Turk and Jemma Muradian brought these tortured looks to life. The entire crew made this a dream to shoot for everyone involved and everyone who watched it!”
