Taylor Swift: 96 thousand spectators in Melbourne. It’s a record (for her)
Another triumph for the most influential pop star of the moment and for his tour. Last night Taylor Swift performed in front of 96 thousand spectators at the Melbourne Cricket Ground in Melbourne: it is a record for the “Eras tour”, the tour with which – after having grossed the beauty of a billion dollars last year in USA – the American singer-songwriter will tour the world in the coming months with her hits (she will arrive in Italy on 13 and 14 July, for two dates at the San Siro Stadium in Milan).
Yesterday’s concert was the first of three planned at the MCG in Melbourne, where the voice of “Look what you made me do” will perform again today and then again tomorrow, before leaving for Sydney (where she will sing on the 23rd , 24, 25 and 26 February): 260 thousand spectators are expected for the three dates. Here are some videos from the show:
Last February 4th at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles during the night of the Grammy Awards, the “Oscars of music”, Taylor Swift made history: after the string of records achieved in recent months, the pop star became the first artist in the 66 editions of the Grammys to obtain the award for “Best Album of the Year” for the fourth time. After winning the statuette with “Fearless” in 2010, “1989” in 2016 and “Folklore” in 2021, this time she played poker with “Midnights”: Taylor Swift has thus surpassed giants such as Stevie Wonder, Paul Simon and Frank Sinatra, who they had stopped at three awards in this category, the most prestigious of the Grammy Awards.
