The preview of the Ferrara Buskers Festival® will be held on August 24th. For 31 years the Municipality of the Lagunare City has been alongside the most famous street artists festival in the world by presenting the public a taste of what will then be the complete event, scheduled this year in Ferrara from 27 to 31 August.

During the event, 17 exclusive artists selected for this showcase will perform twenty -one until midnight and which has become a bearing column of the Festival, one of which will emerge from the Busking Contest of Lavagna (GE), which will take place on August 3 and in which Rebecca Bottoni will be in the jury.

The protagonists of this narrative, selected artists who will perform exclusively on the occasion of this preview, which will be free admission.

After Comacchio, the appointment is from 27 to 31 August in the historic center of Ferrara for the new edition of the Festival, La 38ma, with 60 shows per evening, 90 guest groups for a total of 259 artists from 19 countries, talk, workshops and the two important news of the Gianna Nannini prize and the Buskers school.

Maura Tomasi, deputy mayor of Comacchio, declares: “After more than thirty years this administration still believes in the Buskers Festival because it is an event that represents community music, the direct and street”.

Rebecca Bottoni, president of the Ferrara Buskers Festival® association adds: “The Ferrara Buskers Festival has chosen, for some years now, to have as the only stage Comacchio. Having reached the 31st consecutive edition, the preview of the Festival is an appointment with their own specificity. The artists are selected to integrate perfectly to the uniqueness of the place. Among the buskers we want to remember Junta Vecinal, the Argento trio coming From Mexico who sees among its members a musician born in Comacchio. ”
