Steve Hackett: “Bay Of Kings” and “Momentum” reissued on vinyl

The vinyl reissue of his first two classical music albums will be released on August 2nd Steve Hackett, “Bay Of Kings” of 1983 and “Momentum” from 1988. The records will be reissued in both black edition and limited colored vinyl with gatefold cover.

Hackett explains: “My love for classical guitar began to merge with “Bay of Kings” and “Momentum”, which showed another side of the guitar. This was the opposite of Rock 'n Roll… A more romantic and personal already insinuated into Genesis' music and my solo work. I'm proud that these albums are getting a second lease on life.”

“Bay Of Kings”
came out in 1983, but his record label at the time, Charisma, refused to release the album considering it non-commercial and it was initially released on the Lamborghini label. It was later released on Hackett's Camino Records with a different cover. While
“Momentum”
Steve Hackett's second classical foray, featured Hackett's brother John on flute and was released on Start Records, before being reissued by Camino in 2001.
