David Bowie releases unreleased cover of The Who's “I Can't Explain”.

Next June 14th the 5-CD box set “Rock 'n' Roll Star” will be released on the marketan unreleased version of has now been released from the box David Bowie who interprets the classic of the Who “I Can't Explain”.

The song was recorded in 1972 during the recording sessions for Bowie's fifth album
“The Rise and Fall of Ziggy
Stardust and the Spiders From Mars”

for his 1973 covers album
“Pin Ups”
. This new version of June 24, 1972, called
“Trident
Studios
Version – Take 2″
retains the powerful chords of the original
Who
while the one ended up
“Pin Ups”
it had slowed down.

The box
“Rock 'n' Roll Star”
traces the rise of the legendary album by
David Bowie
but also of the character
Ziggy
Stardust
with various demos, BBC performances, live songs and outtakes. Almost 30 of the songs included in the box set are previously unreleased.
