Springsteen thanks fans for their “serenades” after postponements

After Bruce Springsteen postponed the concerts of the current European tour with the E Street Band originally scheduled in Marseille on May 25th, Prague on May 28th and Milan on June 1st and 3rd due to vocal problems, the Boss' followers in those cities they decided to make up for the cancellation of the live shows by meeting in outdoor spaces to listen to other fans sing and play the songs of the New Jersey singer-songwriter.

The videos of the various gatherings were shared online and then came to the attention of Springsteen, who wanted to thank his audience after the cancellation of the shows with a video message.

“This is Bruce Springsteen speaking to you straight from the wilds of New Jersey, where I am at the moment trying to overcome my vocal problems,” the Boss can be heard beginning in the clip:

“I apologize again for the missed concerts. But most importantly, I have to thank our incredible fans in Marseille, Milan and Prague for their amazing serenades and for rallying together while we were unwell. It was very touching and deeply emotional. Something that I won't forget. We will come back and give you the show of your lives.

The video message arrives shortly after the announcement with the dates on which the concerts in Marseille and Prague will be recovered, postponed to 31 May 2025 and 15 June 2025 respectively.
