Deep Purple: new single and 2 tracks from the live show in Milan in 2022

More than a month after the single “Portable door”, i Deep Purple they published today – June 5th – the second preview extracted from their new album=1“, coming soon July 19th via earMUSIC, almost three years after “Turning to crime” (here our interview and here our review).

The new song is titled “Pictures of you” and is offered as part of a four-track release that contains, in addition to the first single from the historic band's next album, two previously unreleased live recordings made in 2022 in Milan: “When a blind man cries” and “Uncommon man” .

The next album from the lineup consisting of Ian Gillan, Roger Glover, Ian Paice and Don Airey, now together with new guitarist Simon McBridewas made with Bob Ezrin once again producingand will include 13 tracks.

The release of the new “=1” (tracklist, cover and details here) will be anticipated by two concerts that Deep Purple will hold in Italy on July 10th at the Cavea Auditorium Parco della Musica for Rock In Roma and theJuly 11th at the Marostica Summer Festival.

The new single will be accompanied by a video that will be available on the band's official YouTube profile starting from 5pm today (Italian time):
