The director
Scott Cooper
In a press release he explained: “‘Nebraska’ is the place where Bruce has chosen the truth instead of expectations, a choice that still echoes in everything he has written since then. At that crossroads, he could have chased the limelight and the strawberry of the arenas, but instead he closed himself in himself, armed only of silence, of a recorder with four tracks and the courage to confront himself. That story, the most vulnerable chapter of his life, is the greatest honor I’ve ever had as director. ”
