SON Estrella Galicia celebrates musical talent with Movistar+
SON Estrella Galicia collaborates with Movistar+ in the development of four stimulating audiovisual pieces that highlight the project and the trajectory of SON Estrella Galicia.
The first of these two-minute micro contents is dedicated to the commitment to the musical talent that is developed in the theaters, and premiered on Tuesday, September 15. Each episode will have a premiere and three rebroadcasts in prime time on the channel Movistar Plus+.
The commitment to talent is one of the axes of the project SON Estrella Galicia. Since 2009 it has made possible that inexhaustible connection between musical talent and non-conformist audiences where it all begins, the venues. It has made more than sixteen hundred concerts possible in more than one hundred venues throughout our geography. And there are many more left.

In 2026 we have already witnessed the joyfully unpredictable nature of the young British band Black Country New Road in Santander and A Coruña, as well as the evolution of the Colombian artist Ela Minus and from Argentina Juana Molina in Madrid. Both performances took place within the Berlin 360 cycle at Café Berlin, with which SON Estrella Galicia proposes very special immersive concerts. This season this cycle will be extended with the performance of artists like the duo Palamera White next November 17th.
In the coming months, theaters across the country will host some of the most interesting emerging proposals of the moment. Let’s mark a few dates in red: The British Fat Dogrevelation of the prestigious seal Domino With their personal version of electronic indie pop and a devastating live performance, they will present their brilliant second album at Galileo Galilei (Madrid), on October 15.
On November 2, the Cadavra hall in the same city will see the fascinating acoustic evolutions of My New Band Believethe collective project of the former Black Midi Cameron Picton, whose very personal progressive folk has dazzled in his debut.
Coincidentally, Geordie Greephis partner in Black Midiwill perform on the 13th of that same month at Almacenes Kuivi (Oviedo). Greep also arrives with an impeccable first solo work that combines intricate progressive structures with Latin sounds. And on October 10, the legendary Basque band from the nineties is scheduled to perform The Communist Tenant in Lemon Rock in Granada, next to Alien Animals.
