Sleaford Mods release nine unreleased songs

The British duo Sleaford Mods publishes an expanded edition of his latest work, “The Demise Of Planetwith no less than nine unreleased songs.

James Williamson and Andrew Fearn have launched a extended version from his most recent album, “The Demise Of Planetreleased by Rough Trade last January. And the most important thing is that, among the nine unreleased pieces, the new single “Cato” is included, which features the collaboration of the vocalist Sue Tompkins (Life Without Buildings), a song that they also present in partnership with a video directed by Tompkins herself. The song brings the duo closer to a universe close to the one that, decades ago, The B-52’s created.

Let us remember that Tompkins already collaborated on the song “No Touch”, which appears on the album, a work in which we also find Aldous Harding, the rapper Snowy, the soul singer Liam Bailey and the actress Gwendoline Christie.

In the nine unreleased songs, we will only find Sue Tompkins in “Cato” and BIG SPECIAL in a new version of the song “The Good Life”, the song with which it opens “The Demise Of Planet.

The songs are “How What”, “Cato (feat. Sue Tompkins)”, “Give ‘Em What They Want”, “The Good Life (feat. BIG SPECIAL)” -with different lyrics-, “Cheap Cheap Shit”, “Then We Are Then”, “Armageddon’s Wi Me Now”, “The Return Of The Bin White Dukes” -precursor of what would later become “Don Draper”- and “Dr. Who?”.
