Chicle releases “Billete de ida”, the first preview of their album comeback

Alvaro Benito returns to the present with another of his musical projects. Apart from Pignoise, the band for which he is best known, in 2022 he started Chicle.

He power trio formed by Alvaro Benito (voice and guitar), Hector Navío (low) and Juan Zurdo (drums) presented a debut LP full of old school rock in 2022. “The beauty”their first studio album, made it clear in what world they were going to move in as a musical group.

“Billete de ida” thus joins the band’s previous releases, “Imbustero”, “Barro”, “Me vuelvo a torcer” and “Cemento”. Each one tells something different but they are all part of the work with which the power-rock trio will complete their catalogue, after a self-titled EP and the LP “The Beauty”both published in 2024.

The song brings back Chicle with an explosive riff, a monolithic rhythmic base and a chorus that sticks to the brain the first time to offer us another clue of what will be their new and long-awaited LP, which will be released in early 2027 by Calaverita Records. The trio is firmly committed to a careful composition process that allows them to refine their songs.
