Simple Plan: a documentary about their story is in the works

THE Simple Planthe multi-platinum band, have announced an upcoming documentary chronicling their successful career, as they tour the world ahead of their 25th anniversary.

The documentary, still untitledcurrently in production with Sphere Media, was announced by the singer Pierre Bouvier live on stage in front of thousands of fans at When We Were Young festival in Las Vegas last weekend. The documentary will launch globally on Prime Video in 2025.

This film is the centerpiece of the band’s 25th anniversary celebrations and probably one of the most ambitious and special projects we have ever been a part of. The film will chronicle the birth of Simple Plan in Montreal in the late ’90s, their rise to global stardom with hits like“Welcome to My Life“,“Perfect” And“The Antidote“, and their continued impact as one of the most successful punk rock bands who continue to sell out shows around the world.

The documentary will feature never-before-seen archival footage, along with new interviews with band members and celebrated icons of the punk rock community, including Mark Hoppus (Blink 182), Avril Lavigne, Dexter Holland & Noodles (The Offspring) e Fat Mike (NoFX).

The documentary is produced by Sphere Media with executive producers Bruno Dubé, Renaud Chassé and Marie-Hélène Tremblay and producer Samuel.

Simple Plan are expected in Italy (the only date in our country) on September 29, 2025 at the Unipol Forum in Milan, opening the Offspring
