MTV EMAs: the first names who will perform in Manchester have been announced

After cancellation for fear of attacks and for security reasons following the international situation (it was a few days before the assault in Israel) of the 2023 edition ofMTV EMAscheduled for November 5th in Paris, this year the event is confirmed and will take place in Manchester.

In recent days, the list of nominations in the different categories competing for the award was announced (Read them here) and now MTV has announced the first group of international artists who will perform at the MTV EMA 2024, scheduled for Sunday 10 November from Co-op Live in Manchester.

The first names announced are those of Benson Boone, Raye, Shawn Mendes, Teddy Swims and The Warning.

On stage, the various prizes will be presented by Bush frontman Gavin Rossdale and film stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Jodie Turner-Smith and Lucien Laviscount.

The 2024 MTV EMAs will be broadcast live on MTV in more than 150 countries. In Italy, the MTV EMA 2024 live event will be broadcast in the original language on Sunday 10 November starting at 9.00 pm with the Live Show on MTV (Sky channel 131 and streaming on NOW), MTV Music (Sky channel 132 and 704) and on Comedy Central (Sky channel 129 and streaming on NOW). The show will be available live on Pluto TV channel VH1+ Music Legends on November 10th from 8pm.

The show will be repeated on Sunday 10 November at 11pm on MTV immediately after the live show. Additional reruns with commentary in Italian will be broadcast on MTV on Monday 11 November at 10.50am, 3.15pm, 7.20pm and 11.50pm, Tuesday 12 November at 7.00am.

On MTV Music the reruns will be broadcast on Monday 11 November at 8.00 pm, Tuesday 12 November at 2.00 pm, Wednesday 13 November at 7.00 pm, Thursday 14 November at 12.00 pm, Friday 15 November at 10.00 pm and Saturday 16 November at 9.00 pm.

Meanwhile, fans around the world can vote for their favorite songs in all categories, including “Best Song”, “Best Artist”, “Best Collaboration” at www.mtvema.com until midnight on November 6th.

Fans from 23 countries around the world will be able to vote for their favorite artists in the “Best Regional Act” categories.

The winner of the “Best Video” category will be chosen by MTV.
