Sick Tamburo: the new album is “Dementia”

“Dementia” is the title of Sick Tamburo’s next unreleased albumexpected on January 16, 2026 and anticipated by “Silvia runs alone”, the new single and second extract released on December 18. Silvia is one of the many strange and crooked characters who inhabit the irregular imagination of Gian Maria Accusani: fragile, irresistible figures, with whom you inevitably fall in love. The song envelops her in a goth/post-punk atmosphereone of the most recognizable dimensions of Accusani’s poetics, where shadows and feelings intertwine to become a story.

Born in Pordenone from the artistic path of Gian Maria Accusani and Elisabetta Imelio after the experience with Prozac+i Sick Drum remain one of the most authentic realities of the Italian alternative scene. With a direct language and writing capable of transforming fear, fragility and pain into energy and truth, they have built a powerful and profoundly human sound universe. Produced, recorded and mixed by Accusani himself, “Silvia runs alone” arrives one month after the release of the single and video “Ho lost dreams”. Two songs that mark the return of the band and anticipate the soul of the new album “Dementia”: meeting of indie rock and post-punk, with songs that tell a story figures in the balance, restless thoughts and interior rooms that close and reopen. The album’s release will be accompanied by a club tour, with the first dates already announced.
