Seal releases concert film “Purpose”

Mercury Studios announces the release of February 13th “Purpose: Celebrating 30 Years of the Classic Albums Seal I and Seal II”a concert film by Seal celebratory filmed at the Venetian Theater in Las Vegas in 2024. The disc will be available in Blu-ray+CD format, with digital audio and video.

The concert sees the participation of the historic producer of Seal Trevor Horn (Yes, LeAnn Rimes, Belle and Sebastian), who joins the band as bassist and musical director. In this regard, the 62-year-old English singer declared: “For me he is a mentor with whom I have spent 34 years and who I have always admired. He knows me as an artist better than anyone else. Having him on tour has made me reach a level of professionalism and discipline I have never had before”.

The concert documentary lasting over an hour, directed by Keirda Bahruth includes interviews with Seal and Horn, we remember some background from his first appearance on the BBC TV program Top of The Pops in 1990.

Throughout the concert, Seal he comes down from the stage to sing among the fans, stops to sign autographs, transforms the show into a shared celebration. “During this tour, I found myself rediscovering how important music and my work were to me.”
