Sanremo Festival 2026: the scenography is by Riccardo Bocchini

Work on setting up the scenography has begun at the Ariston Theatre of the 76th edition of the Sanremo Festival. The historic owner confirmed to Adnkronos that the organizational machine within the theater has come to life Walter Vacchino, who however maintains the utmost secrecy about the appearance of the most famous stage in Italy. “I will let whoever is dealing with it speak in due time,” he explains. “However, I can anticipate that, like every year, the audience in front of the TV, at first glance, will exclaim ‘Wow’”.

The stage of the event will be curated again this year by architect Riccardo Bocchini, at his fifth time at the Festival, after having designed the sets for all the Carlo Conti editions, from 2015 to 2017 and last year. While the ‘Rooms under construction for the Italian Song Festival’ signs appear outside the Ariston, Bocchini shows off the badge with which he enters the theater on social media, commenting: “Coming back here always has a certain effect. The assembly is proceeding at full speed”. The 76th edition of the Festival will take place from 24 to 28 February.
