Sanremo 2025: the report cards of the first evening

On the early evening of the Sanremo Festival, all 29 songs in the race perform. On the first lap votes the press room, on Wednesday and Thursday evening the radio and televoting: for each performance/song, journalists must express a vote from 1 to 10, thus determining the first partial ranking (only the songs in the head will be communicated): Rockol is among the newspapers present and accredited in the press room: on this page you find our votes as the singers go out on the Ariston stage. In addition, as always, we argue how votes were attributed on the basis of the songs (which we have already listened to in preview) and on the performance we see on TV, from the press room.

Deliberately you will not find strokes or votes that are too low. Good festival!.

Noemi – “If you fall in love with you”: 6
A piece at Noemi, without great surprises even if there is Mahmood’s hand, Blanco and Michelangelo. She interprets him with determination and strength, but has the flavor of the already heard.

Rkomi – “The rhythm of things”: 5

A well -written song at a content level, with a distorted text, but that does not put the wings. Rkomi is a little songwriter, a little rocker, he does not completely understand his identity.

Francesco Gabbani – “Long live life”: 7

He had not convinced us to listen, on stage is another thing, also thanks to the scenic presence of Gabbani. Which always starts from outsider, but then … the ballad is classic, well written and well interpreted.

Gaia – “I call you call you”: 5

A body of dance, a catchphrase in the true sense of the word, with the repetition of the refrain indefinitely. It could be Eurovision, it could be the summer, instead it is February and we are at the Festival. It has the not simple task of opening the dances (in the true sense of the word), but the song is what it is …
