Sanremo 2025: Jovanotti “super guest” of the first evening

Jovanotti is the first super guest of the 2025 Sanremo Festival. The host and artistic director of the event Carlo Conti announced it this evening on Tg1. Lorenzo Cherubini, this is the real name of the 58-year-old singer-songwriter, will take the stage at the Ariston on Tuesday 11 February, during the first evening. This is a return three years after the duet with Gianni Morandi on the covers evening. Jovanotti was also a guest in 2008: that year he sang “A te” and duetted with Ben Harper on “Fango”. Jovanotti participated in the Festival only once during his career: it was 1989 when he presented himself with “Vasco”, a tribute to the rocker Zocca.
