Rufus T. Firefly share “Sing for me”, their version of El Último de la Fila

“Sing for me” is a song by the Barcelona band El Último de la Fila. It appeared in 1990 on his album “New Small Catalog of Beings and Beings”four study works of his career –fifth if we add “New Mixes” (87), in which they re-recorded some of their previous songs.

In the case of Rufus T. Firefly, those from Aranjuez included it in the repertoire of “All good things”their album released in 2025. They did it as a tribute to Julia’s father, who listened to the original song regularly. Hence, Julia herself will sing it, in addition to being in charge of the art of launching it on platforms.

The song is accompanied by new dates to say goodbye “All good things”which was named the best album of the year in Spain at the Ruido Awards and the AUPA (BIME) awards. Rufus T. Firefly will visit Andalusia at the beginning of the year with stops on January 8 in Málaga (Paris 15) and January 9 in Córdoba (Impala 1) before saying goodbye to the rooms January 22 at the Circo Price in Madridas part of the Inverfest programming. Furthermore, in 2027 the band will return to the SanSan Festival of Benicàssim (March 25-27) to give the performance that could not be this year and will visit the Dee Fest de Dílar, Granada (June 19).
