Robert Smith calls together Placebo, Garbage and many others

What does a benefit concert need to raise money? An incredible line-up. He’s thinking about it for the event in favor of the Teenage Cancer Trust Robert Smith“Curator” of the project on stage at Royal Albert Hall Of London.

Each artist “is legendary or in top form” says Smith, who for the series of charity concerts scheduled for March 2026 has brought together big names in international rock to create an “unforgettable” bill.

The benefit shows will begin on Monday 23 March, with the Elbow as headliners, supported by soul and R&B band MRCY. This will then be followed by an evening dedicated to entertainment on Tuesday 24 March, with the participation of Jack Dee, Maisie Adam, Bridget Christie, Andy Hamilton, Dom Joly, Miles Jupp, Stewart Lee and Dara O Briain.

The Scottish post-rock band Mogwai will be the protagonist of the concert on Wednesday 25 March, after the sets of the electronic artist Craven Faults and the Irish singer Annika Kilkenny. The 150th show of the concert series will be celebrated on Thursday 26 March with a headline show by the Welsh rock band Manic Street Preacherswhich will be supported by Welsh band The Joy Formidable.

On March 27th, the protagonists will be i My Bloody Valentinesupported by Glasgow synth-pop duo Chvrches. The following day the American rock band Garbage will perform, with none other than i Placebo.

Concluding the event on Sunday 29 March will be the Mercury Prize-winning band, i Wolf Alicewhich will be joined by the eclectic singer-songwriter Nilufer Yanya.

“Teenage Cancer Trust does absolutely amazing work and I am very proud that they asked me to curate their concerts,” says Robert Smith. “I wanted it to be a truly unforgettable week and unmissable, a series of dream shows, and I am very grateful to all the artists who accepted my invitation to perform.”
