Robert Plant and Alison Krauss release “When The Levee Breaks”
Robert Plant and Alison Krauss have released a new version of the classic dei Led Zeppelin from 1971 “When The Levee Breaks”. The live version of the song is their first single since the release of their second album “Raise The Roof” (read the review here) published in 2021.
This version, which the two performed on their recent North American tour, features the guitarist JD McPhersonof the drummer Jay Belleroseof the bassist Dennis Crouchof the string player Stuart Duncan and the multi-instrumentalist Viktor Krauss. During the tour Plant and Krauss also performed other songs by Led Zeppelin, as “The Battle Of Evermore” And “Rock and roll”as well as a medley that includes “Gallows Pole”.
Robert Plant And Alison Krauss they will close their American tour on September 1st. The former singer of Led Zeppelin will be in Italy in concert next October for eleven live showsnot with Krauss but with i Saving Grace.
