Recently, in a new interview with the American edition of “Rolling Stone”, the drummer made it known: “Last week I spoke to Roger. He said to me: ‘Don’t take the battery from the deposit, we could also call you'”.
While Zak Starkey does not know what will happen with the Who, who will start the tour from Italy on 20 July, where they are expected for two dates, in the matter Ringo Starr also said his. In the same chat for “RS US”, Starkey was asked what the former member of the FAB Four thought of the story. Zak then replied by reporting a father’s quote with a clear reference to the frontman Roger Daltrey:
“He said: ‘I never liked the way that little boy manages the band’.”
In the same chat, Zak Starkey spoke of the pitches and gives up in the WHOs, underlining: “These are completely out! I was fired several times in ten days compared to how many times he touched Keith Moon. “
These latter statements by Zak, follow the news of his New collaboration with the children of the other former beatle: together with Sean Ono Lennon and James McCartney, children of John Lennon and Paul McCartney respectively, published a new song entitled “Rip off”.
