Radiohead: previews of the tour’s scenography and setlist
While anticipation grows for the tour that will mark Radiohead’s return to the stage, for which tickets have been sold out, Thom Yorke and his associates reveal the first previews of the scenography and concert lineup. In the same interview with the Times in which they made statements on their positions on the Israeli-Palestinian conflict, Radiohead – expected in Bologna, at the UnipolArena, on 14, 15, 17 and 18 November 2025 – anticipated that the stage will be placed in the center of the arenas in which the tour will stop and that the audience, consequently, will be placed all around, with 360° visibility. Something new for the Radiohead band? Not exactly. It was drummer Philip Selway who recalled in the interview that Radiohead had already performed with this setup once, on the occasion of a tour in Canada in 1993, when – not yet well known – they opened for Ned’s Atomic Dustbin.
As for the setlist, Radiohead have set up a real “committee” called to choose the songs to include. The committee is made up of Thom Yorke, Ed O’Brien and Philip Selway himself: the three decide the setlist a few hours before the start of each concert and assured the Times that the setlists will change from night to night. The band confirmed they have narrowed down the options to a shortlist of around 65 songs.
