Bruce Springsteen ready for 'Nebraska' movie sequel

Bruce Springsteen ready for ‘Nebraska’ movie sequel

“Bruce Springsteen: Free Me from Nothing”, the film – which has just arrived in cinemas – which tells one of the most fascinating pages of the Boss’ life and career, the genesis of “Nebraska”, could have a sequel. This was revealed by director Scott Cooper, who made it known that Bruce Springsteen, pleasantly impressed by the result of “Deliver me from nowhere”, this is the original title of the film, is ready to tell more about his life.

Guest of the AFI Fest in the USA, Scooper said:

I suppose if you can make four Beatles movies, you can make a couple of Bruce Springsteen movies. There are so many chapters in Bruce’s life, seriously, that they are perfect for cinematic treatment. It’s something Bruce and I discussed honestly. I think he really loves this movie. He enjoyed the experience. I think he feels incredibly comfortable when someone talks about a very painful chapter in their life. You’d have to ask him, but I think he’s ready for something more.

Together with the cinema release of the film, in which the Boss is played by Jeremy Allen White, it has arrived in stores and on streaming platforms “Nebraska ’82: Expanded edition“, the Bruce Springsteen box set linked to “Nebraska”, which among the rich unreleased material includes the Boss’s first live performance of the entire album. The box set was published by Sony Music (here is the link to purchase it) in 4 LP + Blu-Ray and 4 CD + Blu-Ray versions. The box includes several unreleased and previously unknown recordings, the legendary “Electric Nebraska” sessions with the E Street Band and solo recordings excluded at the time of release, as well as the recently recorded “Nebraska” live performance. The box set includes a essay by Erik Flannigan.
