Quincy Jones: cause of death released

Last November 3, Quincy Jones, legendary American musician, author and producer, one of the greatest exponents of twentieth-century music, especially black music, passed away at the age of 91. In the last few hours they have been the causes of death revealednot disclosed the day after his disappearance.

As reported by several newspapers, CNN and TMZ have obtained possession of the death certificate of Jones in which the actual reason for his death is revealed. According to the documents obtained, Quincy Jones died of pancreatic cancer. According to the report, the musician had been living with the disease for yearsalthough this information was never made public, and no other factors contributed to his death.

Exactly one week after his disappearance, Jones’ body received the burial in a private ceremony in Los Angeles which saw only the seven children, the brother, the two sisters and other close family members participate. The late musician’s family reportedly said they were “enormously grateful for the outpouring of condolences and tributes from his friends and fans around the world,” and also stated that “A large public memorial celebration of Mr. Jones’ life will be announced at a later date“.
