Queens of the Stone Age: “Josh Must Prioritize Health”
Through a post shared on their official social channels, Queens of the Stone Age announced that they had to cancel all of their 2024 dates because Josh Homme requires “essential medical care” through the end of the year.
“It is with regret that QOTSA must announce the cancellation and/or postponement of all remaining 2024 shows,” the band’s message read, which, in addition to providing information on refund requests, added:
“Josh was given no choice but to prioritize his health and receive essential medical care for the remainder of the year.”
On July 4th, Queens of the Stone Age performed in Rome and, despite leaving fans in uncertainty until the very end after canceling the concert at the AMA festival due to a health problem of the frontman, three days later they performed at the I-Days in Milan on July 7th (here is our story). The tour followed the release of the group’s eighth album, “In Times New Roman…” (here is our review), their first studio work since 2017’s “Villains”.
