Post Malone works on a new country album. “I’m excited”
Post Malone He probably “composed 35 songs” for his next album country. The author of “I Had Some Help”, on the bill as headliner on the first weekend of the Coachella, is working to follow “F-1 Trillion”, the 2024 album with which he made his debut in the world of country.
Speaking with Billboard before his concert at the Empire Polo Club of Indio in California on Sunday he enthusiastically told his new project.
He said he is working with collaborators like Ernest, Hardy and Thomas Rhett in Nashville: “We just have fun. We sit, we talk and make songs. And therefore I am already quite excited for the new album”.
Malone observed that “he probably did 35 songs; it’s just a question of what rock and what country”. While working on the voices they already have many other songs in the pipeline. He said: “I sit down and listen to these songs; I usually hate listening to my music, but feeling the band playing, they get very excited.”
Speaking of how all its different styles incorporate – which also include rock and pop – in a single set of seamless continuity, Post Malone said: “A turning point is given to instrumentation and musicality. We have Lillie Mae who plays the violin and Cheese Chandler Walters who plays the Steel Guitar and we incorporate them into the old songs and then went to the new ones … It is always all music. ”
The 29 -year -old superstar – who participated in the country disc of Beyonce “Cowboy Carter” with the song “Levii’s Jeans” – he also confessed that he felt “nervous” for his concert at Coachella. He explained: “I wasn’t so nervous some time ago … now I’m older. Everything hurts”.
