Piero Pelù presents the new single “Maledetto cuore”
Shortly after he let the public know that he had overcome a series of problems that had kept him away from the music scene for a long time and released the single “Novichok“, Piero Pelù announces the release of another song from his next album “Deserts“.
The new single is titled “Damn heart” and, to be released on April 26th, comes as another extract from the album which will be published on June 7th as the second chapter of the “Triology of discomfort” which began in 2020 with the publication of the album “Pugili fragili” (here is our review).
“'Damn heart' it is a journey through the dunes of the deserts looking for the others we need to help us understand ourselves and the chaos inside and outside of us”, wrote the musician in a social post, who added in a press release:
“It is a rock ballad that addresses the theme of the difficulty of communication between people, in love relationships but even more broadly in human relationships in general. On the one hand there is the awareness of being overwhelmed by one's own internal chaos and on the other the need to share one's reality knowing how difficult it is to do so.”
The release of the new one will be followed by Piero Pelù's return to the stageswho will be busy touring in support of the new album “Deserti” between the end of June and the beginning of September.
On stage, the singer-songwriter will be accompanied by a band composed of Amudi Safa on guitar, Luca Martelli “Mitraglia” on drums and Max Gelsi “Sigel” on bass. The series of dates will start on June 29th from Spilimbergo (PN) before continuing on July 26th in Castiglione del Lago (PG), on July 27th in Porto Recanati (MC), on August 9th in Asiago (VI), on August 16th in Noto (SR), on 18 August in Bagheria in the province of Palermo (ATTENTION the original date of 17 August is therefore moved to 18 August), on 20 August in Roccella Jonica (RC), on 22 August in San Pancrazio Salentino (BR ), on August 24th in Veroli (FR) and conclude on September 13th (initially the date was scheduled for September 6th) in Cernobbio (CO).
