McCartney: "Hey Jude? I wanted to change that line: John said no"

Paul McCartney: “The resolution for 2025? Finish the new album”

Fresh from the European triumphs of his “Got back tour” (we went to see him in Paris, here is the review), Paul McCartney in a Q&A on his website, answering fans’ questions, made it known that he wanted to release a new album by unreleased in 2025.

The songs are already there, according to the former Beatle. McCartney said he had been “working on a lot of songs” in recent months, but was forced to pause work on the album due to the “Got Back Tour”.

“I’m hoping to get back to it and finish a bunch of these songs. That’s what my New Year’s resolution is: finish the new album,” the “Live and let die” vocalist wrote.

McCartney released his most recent solo album, “McCartney III”, in 2020.
