“Ornella senza fine”: the setlist of the tribute to Ornella Vanoni

From Gianni Morandi to Malika Ayane, passing through Marco Mengoni, Elisa, Emma: Italian music pays homage to Ornella Vanoni this evening, just under two months after the death of the great Milanese singer. The special hosted by Fabio Fazio and Luciana Littizzetto on Nove – and streaming on discovery+ – is simply titled “Ornella senza fine”: the great television event includes performances to the tune of some of the most loved songs from the diva’s repertoire. The setlist includes the various “Eternità” (Diodato recorded it in 2014 for the cover album “A trovar beauty”), “Sant’allegria” (Vanoni re-recorded it before disappearing in a duet with Mahmood), “A smile inside the cry” (written for Vanoni in 2021 by Francesco Gabbani). And then “The appointment”, “The desire, the madness”, “Tomorrow is another day”.

Among the guests also Fiorella Mannoia, Toquinho, Loredana Bertè, Virginia Raffaele, Annalisa, Arisa, Noemi, Giuliano Sangiorgi, Francesco Gabbani, who will interpret Ornella Vanoni’s songs that have made the history of music.

Also speaking will be Vincenzo Mollica, Pacifico, Filippa Lagerbäck, Mara Maionchi, Mario Lavezzi, the Mayor of Milan Beppe Sala and the family of Ornella Vanoni, her son Cristiano and her grandchildren Matteo and Camilla.
