Olivia Rodrigo: the duet with Robert Smith from the new live album
The concert that Olivia Rodrigo held from Headliner on June 29th in Glastonbury 2025 becomes A live album. The pop star has in fact announced for the next December 5th the release of a record that documents his live on the stage of the historic British festival at World Farm, and will be Published on all streaming and physical format platformsincluding limited vinyl editions.
According to what was announced, the new live album capture the whole set by Olivia Rodrigo in Glastonbury 2025, which marked his second appearance at the legendary festival, which took place after the success of his second album “Guts” of 2023 (here our review). Among the salient moments of the concert stand out The covers of “Friday I’m in Love” and “Just Like Heaven” of care, performed on stage Together with the frontman Robert Smith. The proceeds deriving from these songs will be donated to doctors without borders. Together with the announcement they were also spread official performance videos of “Friday I’m in Love” and the song of the pop star “So American”. The movie of the execution of “Just Live Heaven” was already available on the BBC Music channel.
The album like the concert, consisting of 20 tracksretraces the successes of the singer, such as “Drivers License”, “Vampire”, “Deja Vu”, “Goo 4 U” and “Get Him Back”, next to more niche songs such as “Pretty Isn’t Pretty” and “Favorite crime”.
The set of Olivia Rodrigo in Glastonbury was part of his world tour in support of “Guts”, who also stopped in Italy on July 15 for a date at the I-Days in Milan.
