Noel made a 6 hour version of an Oasis hit
If you think the seven-plus minute version of the original version of “Champagne Supernova” isn’t enough, know that Noel Gallagher has made a new six-hour version to accompany an exhibition at the National Portrait Gallery in London.
The eldest of the Gallagher brothers has in fact revisited the Oasis hit, the final track of the historic album “(What’s The Story) Morning Glory)?” from 1995, in an ambient version that acts as a background to the “Legends” exhibition by photographer Zoë Law.
According to the British “The Independent”, the exhibition features 100 black and white portraits taken by Law of people who influenced his life and career. The exhibit also includes a never-before-seen portrait of actress Sienna Miller posing with the 1967 Epiphone Riviera guitar that Noel used to write “Champagne Supernova,” and other songs.
