Noel Gallagher: “I had a fight with Liam over a teddy bear”
Noel Gallagher has given his first impromptu, unarranged “interview” since news of the Oasis reunion broke.
On Wednesday (August 28), while out shopping at a well-known designer store in London, Noel was met by a man called Steve Sheward and his four children – who explained to the children that Noel is part of his “legendary band”.
During the chat – part of which was recorded and shared on X/Twitter – one of the Shewards’ children asked Noel why he had argued with Liam. Noel jokingly replied: “Why did I argue with him? Because he stole my teddy bear.” Noel continued: “I’m not lying. He stole it in 1978.”
The post includes footage and photos of the meeting, which shows Noel looking very relaxed and the family in a group photo and in videos walking together down the street.
Sheward wrote on X: “I bumped into Noel Gallagher yesterday in the Stone Island store in London, a boyhood dream of going into a pub for a pint with Noel and Liam has been realised with my kids making memories and I just hope I can get tickets next year. A true gentleman with great manners.”
